Fun Fact - In 1882, Johnson, who was vice president of the Edison Electric Light Company, had a brilliant idea. He hand-wired 80 red, white, and blue light bulbs together and strung them around his Christmas tree. This was the very first electrically lit Christmas tree, a dazzling spectacle at the time!
